What's the correct verb in Hokkien for (a) putting on and (b) wearing gloves?

A friend of mine from Taipak says kuà tshiú-lok (掛手橐 in MoE characters) for putting gloves on. My feeling would tell me to say kuà-leh for wearing them, but that feeling may very well still be too much influenced by the Mandarin use of 著.

Thanks. Others have confirmed 掛 is the most common verb. There are others. Your instinct is spot on, depending on the context. "Chiúlông kòa--leh" is absolutely a native usage.

Lông vs lok (lokgá) has me a little confused. Both are used. Not sure which is used where.
