Some light humour

Post by Sim »

Well, this forum's gone all quiet for the moment (everyone busy, like me, I suppose), so perhaps a non-serious link to keep us going for a while.

Very funny, thank you, Sim!
But I can't understand this: "mah-chiam all the edges cannot fix together, leh." What is "mah-chiam"?

Hi Kaiah,

"mah-chiam" is from Malay, it means "like".

Sim.

PS. Where are you from?

Hi Taiwanese,

.nl is the Netherlands, which some people call Holland in English. I'm Hokkien, born in Penang Malaysia, but I've lived in Holland for about 16 years now.

Welcome to the Forum.

Sim.

BTW, my personal name is Sim, and my surname is Lee. When Chinese live in a Western country, it is saves a lot of confusion to move the surname to the end, so this is what I and all the members of my family have done.
