weesen:
Yes, if the Chinese characters for jun4 le4 is 俊樂, then tsun3 lok8 is the Hokkien pronunciation for it.

Jenny Tan:
I guess Xuan1(Gao Gui) is 軒(http://140.111.1.40/yitia/fra/fra04065.htm ), right?
Tan5 Khai2 Hian1 is the Hokkien name for Chen2 Kai3 Xuan1(陳凱軒).

I'm sorry if i'm not too clear in my question.
i want to know what is the hokkien name (spelling) for jun4 le4. i.e. much like khai2 hian1 is the hokkien name for kai3 xuan1, then what is it for jun4 le4?

i don't quite understand tsun3 lok8, (why is there an 8th sound? i thought there is only 4?)

I known what you mean, and tsun3 lok8 is just the Hokkien name for jun4 le4. Can you provide the Chinese characters for jun4 le4? Are those 俊(handsome) and ??happy)?
jun4 (俊: http://140.111.1.40/yitia/fra/fra00160.htm )
le4 (??乐: http://140.111.1.40/yitia/fra/fra02016.htm )

tsun3 lok8 is the spelling of Missionary Romanisation System(http://www.omniglot.com/writing/taiwanese.htm ). You can imitate to pronounce it zun4 lok1 by Hanyu Pinyin. zun4 lok1 here is the Xiamen accent, and zun1 lok2 is like the Quanzhou accent. I guess Singapore Hokkien may be more like Xiamen Hokkien?

dear atsui
Do some research first .Singapore have 900000 chuanchiu but only a few chiangchiu and amoy.I heard more Singapore said ly for you than taiwanese li to adopt xiamen although they are chuanchiu.South east asia has 6.5 m chuachiu but there could be only 1.5 m chiang and amoy.
