I have been learning chinese for the past 7 months - and I have found that the the best way is to get a private tutor. I had a tutor for 4 month and after that it was easy. If you want to learn chinese first learn how to pronounce your initals and finals.

After that it's just a matter of putting it all together and forming sentences.

As far as the the girl who wants to learn english-
currently i am teaching ,someone who speaks spanish , english.
(i also speak spanish) and i have also found tons of websites with audio and sentence structure online. But for you i would recommed a tutor.
Because chinese is structured different than english, it will be hard for you to conjugate verbs. And you will need someone to correct you, and of course how to pronounce the words clearly.

Get an Oxford starter English dictionary from amazon.com or an Oxford chinese dictionary which translate your language into english. I'm trying to learn Mandarin and I have found it to be very helpful. They also have software that can help you with this. If you can help me with sentence structure I'd really would appreciate it thank you.
