i dont know if some of you got your answers so i have here below the asnswers to some of your requests..
hello: ni hao
goodbye: zai jian
english (language): Ying wen
English (person): Ying guo ren
French (language): Fa wen
French (person) : Fa guo ren
thank you: xie xie!
i need to write a letter to a soldier: wo yao xiang xie shuxin gei shibing. (im not sure though about the arrangement. literal meaning or translation is i need to write a letter for a soldier)
