Hi Hong :)

Thanks a lot for flooding us with these precious sites. I have yet to read all, but I already get so many good info about our ancestral language: linguistics, tradition, bible and church hymns. I really appreciate your efforts.

Btw, are you studying linguistics?

Niu,
No,I work in a bank.I 'd like to get a phd in minnan language or any kind of chinese guhanyu but you know the job of teaching is a very boring job. There are no other jobs with that kind of degree. We may easily misguided students even we are a master in that language.Who can predict that there is a better minnan dict recently discovered in zhangzhou?Even the late Huangdiancheng(died in 1993) didn't know about this.
My sister ,a first year student is not allow to enter into Shifandaxue library to photocopy Zhang TongAn thesis.I will try to find other way.
I am thinking chuanchiu has mainly two sets, those closer to sea like Nanan and those near the mountain like yongchun.Which school do you think TongAn is closer to in sound and vocabulary.I also have question about jinmen which is still a chuanchiu but not xiamen according to some articles.
