That is indeed how *I* would write them. But in this field I'm one of the least knowledgable of the regular posters, so we'll have to wait for the others to respond...

I would write the first one as 喙鬚, I think most serious written Hokkien (Taiwanese literary magazines, textbooks etc.) uses this.

Both 嘴鬚 and 喙鬚 are OK for me as long as practical (I guess I am quite pragmatic about Hokkien or any language), but again I am not a linguist. 
About 鬍鬚, may be it was originated from 胡鬚 i.e. only 胡人 had it?
I want to borrow this thread to ask some words. Praying mantis is 螳螂 tông-lông, but in my variant we usually say tak-ku-chī_ā. How do you say it in your variants? Thanks!

學校 = o-teng (very likely 學堂)
