Dear Suzanne,
In Mandarin ‘thank you’is ??你 [Mand: xie4 xie4 ni3, Cant: jeh jeh neih]. It is literally ‘thank thank you’.
In Cantonese ‘thank you’ is
多?你 [Mand: duo1 xie4 ni3, Cant: do jeh neih]. It is literally ‘much thanks you’.
The numbers are:
一 one [Mand: yi1, Cant: yat]
二 two [Mand: er4, Cant: yih]
三 three [Mand: san1, Cant: saam]
四 four [Mand: si4, Cant: sei]
五 five [Mand: wu3, Cant: ngh]
六 six [Mand: liu4, Cant: luhk]
七 seven [Mand: qi1, Cant: chat]
八 eight [Mand: ba1, Cant: baat]
九 nine [Mand: jiu3, Cant: gau]
十 ten [Mand: shi2, Cant: sahp]

please tell me in english what "gui muy" means
(I think it's cantonese and probably not the right spelling)
The term was used in describing a girl but not sure of the connotation.
