best mandarin tape courses

I live in the Netherlands, and am travelling as a tourist to China in June. I realize I do not have time to learn the language adequately enough, but would nonetheless like to learn some pronunciation and a few basics. Can anyone recommend a good cassette learning course for Mandarin, or have other suggestions? I've also thought of trying to find a crash course in Beijing but that seems to be difficult.
