CStar 2.97 is this too old or what?

Hello, I used Chinese Star 2.97 to type in my computer, it works.
But when i run it to view pages such as yahoo.com.hk why can't I see the correct chinese character on my screen? I have NJStar , can it be used together with internet explorer?
