hi anyone know what the word "ga yeem" means? and what could the word "hóng" mean? (adjective i think...it was used in context/reference to an airplane)...

架鹽 is a possibility ga yihm. It means "to add salt"

/hong/ is probably 航 refers to ships and navigation. You may have heard it in terms of an airline 航空公司 /hong/ hung gung si (lit. to navigate the emptiness)

That should read 加鹽.

Alternatively, it might be 家嚴, a word used to refer to one's own father.
