pinyin translation?

some guy said the following to me. and i have searched and searched, and cant find what it means. I asked earlier if he spoke english, and this was the response
"na ni shi zhong guo ren hai shi"

I think it means "are you a chinese or...?"

well, it depends on what you wanna learn. if you only want to know the meaning of chinese characters, then I can translate it into English, however, if you wanna learn the pronunciation, then,..... well, still can do that via typing, or even chatting via internet...

yep, i grow up in china, can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka.
