Been watching the Young and Dangerous movies and was wondering what is the meaning/reference to Coo Wak Jai
(The cantonese title) and Fit Yun (Fit person) which seems like it is translated as branch leader in the subtitles.
I always thought a triad was hak say hui so am unfamiliar with the two phrases in question.
Wak Jai and Fit Yun
Re: Wak Jai and Fit Yun
Gu wak jai - means slimy/sneaky boy (literal translation), slang for gang member
fit yun - as in ja fit yun means the person in charge or oversees the territory
