"siu pao jerng" meaning?

I think you mean "Lighting Fireworks", but if there were a negative pun to it, I'm completely oblivious to that fact.

I think that would be "lighting firecrackers" not "fireworks".

Does anyone know the characters for "siu pao jerng" if it does indeed mean "lighting firecrackers"?

Also, is "pao jerng" meaning "firecracker" a Yue dialect term only. In my dialect of Taishanese we say "pao jeuhng" too.
