is there anyway to type chinese characters into a computer using cantonese pinyin instead of putonghua pinyin. its doing my nut in cos i'm constantly lookingin dictionaries

If you're using a Hong Kong version of Windows, go to this site for a JyutPing Input Method Editor. It's supposed to allow input using Jyut Ping.
I'm in the United States and my American version of Windows wasn't able to install it. Since, this web-site is in Hong Kong, maybe the program is only for Hong Kong versions of Windows. So, if you're in Hong Kong...
