meanings of "leoi" and "gui"?

Post by richard »

Hey I had a general translation for two words, "leoi" and "gui." Is there such word as "leoi" that has connotations for destruction/ruining something/a person? Because I heard this word in context of someone being "leoi" (verb I think) and it sounded as if the expereriences resulted in ruining her as a person. For the second word "gui" does it have a meaning like to mean "things" since I hear it in the context of "gui ye" like "m ho gong li gui ye" don't talk about these things? I think.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

1. leoi5 累 involve someone with trouble, drag him into trouble
2.1. gwai2 鬼(character not sure) ye5 means things + gwai2 which has no meaning but emphasizes the thing or emphasize the adjective for the thing.
2.2. gwai2 鬼, means ghost or devil, Chinese hates to talk about ghost or things about devils.
