What is the meaning of these two Chinese characters?

I am interested to know the meaning of the characters on this pair of cufflinks, please.
This post is the same as my last. I was unable to edit it so created another to add a larger picture without mistakes this time, I hope.

福 Good Fortune
寿 Longevity
there is still one word that often comes with the two ones above. it is 禄. people usually say 福禄寿 (fu lu shou)
禄 Prosperity

Thank you very much for that information. My web browser doesn't seem to display all your characters no matter which encoding I use. Am I correct in assuming that the cufflink on the left has the character for 'good fortune' and the one on the right for 'longevity'?

that's right. the left one is good fortune; the right one is longevity
