Taiwanese dialects
Taiwanese dialects
I'm thinking at some point of going to Taiwan to study Mandarin, and wondered if there was a part of Taiwan where I could also learn/practise Hokkien without it being too different from the Penang dialect. I know most of Taiwan speaks a mixed but mainly Amoy dialect, but are there parts that speak Ciangciu style?
There only place in this world who speak ciangciu dialects is just China.I have listened to those hai chng dialects and they also speak first tone slightly bend upward. It is impossible for anyone outside china to learn that.
Too many words in Penang hokkien are just amoy and cuanciu .Even tin te is just Amoy, can you believe that?
