how to use the word "yet"?

I want to ask this girl, "Are you single, yet?", with the same feeling as in English. I have a crush on this girl, and I know she likes me too, but she told me she has a boyfriend. So, I need to know, next time we meet, how to ask if she's single yet, at the same time implying that I was waiting for her to be single, or something like that. Any ideas? Thanks
