Hello,
I need help with a second character for the Chinese name of my second son.
My first son's Chinese name is: Quong-Yiu, meaning Bright, Brilliant
For my second son we are keeping the first character Quong. We need a good second character to go along with it. His first name is Jacob. If anyone can help with a few different characters to go with this and give me the meanings of them that would be wonderful!
Thank you for your help!
Jen

Re: Need Chinese name for my son
I think the characters for "Quong Yiu" are 光耀. Why not call the other Gwong Fai, 光輝 which has a similar meaning.

Re: Need Chinese name for my son
Thank you for your suggestion of Quong-Ming, which is a very good one! It is actually my brother's Chinese name.
We have actually chosen Quong-Sing for Jacob's Chinese name. Thank you for your suggestions and for the online chinese dictionary.
Quong means bright and brilliant. Sing means any heavenly body that shines (star, planet).

Re: Need Chinese name for my son
Regular hong konger will name their kids after consulting the fortune tellers,it may sound superstitious ,some of them believe that the name will affect kid's and the name should match with the the birthday of the child , it's all about the nexus.
