人人??????

Post by alexchau »

hello,

Does anyone how to read theses characters "人人" in Hokkien???

I heard sometimes as nangnang and sometime as langlang in Malaysian Hokkien songs.

Correct pronounciation is 'Lang Lang'.

Nang is very close to Lang and is sometimes misheard.

Nangnang is Teochew or Hainanese. If you can provide the song, we can help further. But the correct pronunciation is Langlang in Hokkien.

PS: 人人 is not the real characters, it's just an artificial pronunciation.
