Interesting blog I came across - the romanisations are all wrong, but fortunately there are sound files. Most of the words are good vocab, and a lot are quite chhim:

Thanks for this. Indeed, a slightly odd orthography, but at least one which doesn't make me cringe. Actually, there are only two orthographic traditions which make cringe: the "English vowel system" one, like "choon" for "boat", "lie" for "come"; and the "pinyin-ish" one, like "pu" for "float" and "bu" for "roast, grill".
