hey
what does "loet si" which "loet" sounds like "luet" in Leut Ji (Chestnut) and Si sounds like Cantonese for "is."
what does the verb "loot" (spelling: loet?) as in like "kuy wui loot (loet) lei..." or something... what could "loet/loet" as a verb, mean?
Thanks

"leot si" and "loot"- what do these mean
Re: "leot si" and "loot"- what do these
I think that the word you are talking about is 慄 leot6
it means to tremble or shudder because of some type of fear.
the leot for leot6 si1 (lawyer) is 律 (meaning law or regulation)
the leot for leot6 zi2 (chestnut) is 栗 (meaning chestnut)
